WA Wildlife has nursed over 190 sick and injured animals, including Honey the sugar glider, through winter. The Bibra Lake rescue hospital, operational since 1998, has admitted more than 2,700 animals this year, with over 300 in this month alone. The facility can accommodate up to 10,000 animals annually amid rising human impacts on wildlife.
