Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run, ute found burned out as police hunt driver
A 72-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Runcorn just before 7:30 PM on Sunday. The pedestrian, from Kingston, sustained critical injuries and died at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Police found the suspected vehicle, a burned-out Toyota Hilux ute, in Sheldon and are seeking witnesses or any CCTV footage.
