FIFA offers Football Australia $44.5 million to back World Cup investment plan
FIFA President Gianni Infantino offered Football Australia up to $44.5 million to support his plan for a $20 billion World Cup company with private investors. The funding would increase FA's FIFA distributions to $28 million through 2030 from $11.5 million previously, plus access to an additional one-off payment of $28 million.
