Bungee jump tragedy claims life of student after fall from bridge
A 21-year-old student, Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas, fell 40 meters from the Ponte do Esqueleto bridge in Brazil during a bungee jump failure on Saturday. Rescuers found her alive, but she later died at the scene. Police arrested three instructors, charging them with homicide for their role in the incident.
