Veteran James Brown saves truck driver’s life with combat first aid

Marine veteran James Brown rescued a fellow truck driver after a crash on May 22, using his combat first aid skills to save the man's life. After a piece of metal impaled the driver’s leg, Brown fashioned a tourniquet from a seatbelt, preventing fatal bleeding. The Truckload Carriers Association recognized him as a ‘highway angel’ on June 4.
